Previously if you have linked a recovery email to your account then you are in luck. Google will send a code to recover your account.
1. You have to click on forgot password just as we discussed earlier. And you will be asked to re type your linked email and click on send.
2. Then you will have to login to your recovery email and you will get a code.
3. Copy that code and paste in in the box given. And click on next.
4. Then you will be asked to set a new password for you account. And you will be able to login by that password from now on.
How To Recover Gmail Password Without Recovery Email
If you have no linked recovery email you can go to Try Another Way. You may be asked to answer a security question that you set before.
Or else you may have to enter your last password you recall. Some time Gmail sends a popup to other mobile device if your account is logged in. You will have to click on Yes on that device, and some time verify a 2-digit number send on that device.
