The first and the easiest thing to try to stop automatic app installs in Samsung smartphone is to revoke galaxy store app permissions. To do this you need to go Settings > Apps > Galaxy Store > Permissions.
Under the permission section look for options in Allowed section, select and change them to Don’t allow. Also be sure to click don’t allow whenever any pop ups come from galaxy store.

After denying all the permissions, you can change the settings for Galaxy store to stop using background resources. To do this you need to go to Settings > Apps > Galaxy Store.
And change the following settings:
1. Switch off Remove permissions if app is unused.
2. Go to Set as default and switch off Open supported links
3. Go to Application data usage and switch off Allow data usage while Data saver is on and toggle off Allow background data usage.
4. Tap on Change system settings and tap off Allow permission.
5. Go to Install unknown apps and switch off Allow from this source.
6. Tap App details in store, tap on three dots on the top right corner, unselect Auto update.
3. Do Not Install Promotional Apps In Galaxy Store
When you are opening Galaxy store for the first time be cautious as Galaxy store will ask you to install some promotional apps. If you are in a hurry and tap continue, you will end up installing those promotional bloatware on your phone.
1. Under the Your Start Up Apps section, you will see a whole bunch of app groups. Each app group will have one or more apps selected. Select Edit on the right of each app group and unselect all apps. Once done, tap continue.
2. On the Customize Profile, select skip.
3. You may see a pop-up asking for your regional language, at the bottom you will see a option to Receive notification about new and exclusive content from Galaxy Apps, unselect the option and tap done.
4. You may also see a pop up Marketing Choice, tap Cancel.
4. Alter Galaxy Store In App settings
Now, deactivate settings within the Galaxy Store app. First launch the app and tap on the hamburger sign (three horizontal lines icon) and go to settings (gear icon).
1. Go to auto updates and select never.
2. Tap off Get news and Special Offers
3. Go to Galaxy Store > Auto Update Galaxy Store and select Using WIFI only.
4. If you are signed in, then go to Customization Service, you will go to customized apps page. Tap and unselect all selected apps. You may receive some warnings click on stop to continue.
5. On the Customization Service page, go to erase your data, tap erase again, type your password and click OK.
5. Stop Galaxy Store Completely
If your problem is not resolved, and you get apps automatically downloaded then you may have to stop using Galaxy Store completely. A serious point to remember is that there are some apps which are not available in play store and can be downloaded from Galaxy Store.
But if you do not care about it and want to carry on, then follow the steps. Remember Galaxy Store can not be uninstalled or disabled completely unlike other apps. But you can follow the steps:
1. Go to Settings > Apps find Galaxy Store from the list.
2. In the App info section select force stop > Ok.
3. Go to storage > clear data > ok.
